Manual vs Automatic
Compared to automatic, manual cars are harder to manoeuvre
due to the added complexity of changing gears. This means you will may
require more driving lessons before your driving skills are up to test standard. The
main reason most people nevertheless choose the manual option is that passing
your test in a manual car entitles you to a full driving licence.
Added freedom of a full driving licence
A full driving licence gives you the freedom to drive any
type of car, be it automatic or manual. If you pass your test in an automatic
car, you will receive an automatic licence, which only entitles you to drive
automatic cars. Should you wish to drive a manual car, you will need to pass
another test to obtain a full driving licence. It is also worth noting that
manual cars are cheaper both to buy and run compared to automatic.
We currently offer
manual car driving
lessons, sorry if you
think that auto is your only option.
However
I suggest you try manual first as with good instruction you may find it easier
than you think.
